Lots of games in Coventry today. I was at the Ricoh Arena with fellow sufferer supporter Eptas to see the Sky Blues draw 1-1 with Brentford, which was probably a fair result.

But also underway there was the Davis Cup match between GB and Russia. We concluded that tennis fans are, by and large, better looking than football fans - although, I have been asked to stress, there are exceptions to every rule.

And, of course, it was Grand National day. Once again, my bet failed to secure any winnings. But, as they say:
