Needing support

My lovely white amaryllis seems to be beset with problems. The two stems have grown really tall, even though I placed the plant in the window. The first stem snapped off close where N had tied it. I managed to save the flowers and they still look good in a vase on my table. Now the second stem is very heavy, and I have had to prop it up against a chair! Even though it has had its problems, the plant has been quite entertaining. It has continued to look stunning, and it hasn’t put me off having another one next year!
