Yes, another sunny day! We decided to go to the Indian restaurant with the Best Naans Ever for lunch, and it did not disappoint. Afterwards we had a brief stroll on the beach to look for a blip.
I started my slightly baffling Spanish homework but did not get very far ... I was glad of that when our new teacher Maria sent S an email to say she's been admitted to hospital (not with Covid) so classes are cancelled until further notice :( Later S went into town to check out one of the language schools and it sounds as if they have classes at an appropriate level which are not expensive.
Someone in the intercambio posted a link to a recent episode of A Place in the Sun featuring Almuñecar, so I watched it out of curiosity. I've never seen this programme before and the concept and execution both seemed rather cringey. Strangely, it actually made Almuñecar look not very attractive. The clients had a relatively small budget and the estate agent showed them a succession of cramped, slightly tatty apartments which they were clearly not enamoured with. As a diversion from these places, she then visited the castle-like house you can see in the foreground of this blip. It's on the market for over 2 million euros, after the owners spent over 700,000 euros renovating it. We get the view without the price tag and the fancy furnishings!
