Getting away from it all....

It has been a really relaxing day here in the most beautiful warm sunshine, finishing up with a lovely walk along the huge and deserted expanse of beach at Fleetwood. Earlier I noticed redshanks dotting about on the mudflats in the creek at low tide, watched several boatmen messing about on their boats, whistling happily as they worked with the sun warm and hopeful on their backs and chuckled at pairs of mallards waddling around looking for nesting sights.

I am back on the road tomorrow heading for Builth Wells in Mid-Wales and am looking forward to some interesting scenery en route as it is all new territory for me.
