Basking in the sun

It has been a hectic morning and both dogs were looking splendid and ready for their holidays with my friends following a good grooming session last night. Cara's lovely soft fur is now hanging outside in a container so the birds can use it for the nests they seem so busy building.

We went out for a walk fairly early so that they could be well exercised before I left them and Cara decided that this was the day when she was going to find the one and only muddy puddle on the moor to wallow in! Once home and eventually cleaned up I then had to put the filthy towels through a quick wash and then take the rascally pair to their holiday homes.

The views towards Ben Vorlich were breathtaking as the sun lit up both the snowy peak and the white church in the village nestling in the foothills. I am hoping that by the time I am back home in ten days time the snow might have disappeared - so this is my blip. My very nearly blip was this pair of March hares dogs. Do take a look!

A quick bite to eat as I type this and then I am ready to pack the car and set off. See you next in Lancashire.
