Breakthrough

Today the sun was high enough by soon after 10am to light this stretch of east-facing wall. The middlest of mid-winter has definitely passed.

Lots of weather still to come, though, I'm sure. Speaking to a Polish friend in her house in Karłow, west of Wrocław, it was sobering to hear of their current -16⁰c.
