Sunken lanes

Very misty in the early morning and I took some lovely pictures of the house lit by hazy sun as I walked back from getting the papers.   Faffed about in the garden in the morning trying to see what was emerging and what needed cutting back.  No sign of the crocuses I planted but they don’t seem to have been dug up so living in hope.

V and I did a four mile walk round the lanes and the backwoods.  This is the sunken lane down to Durleighmarsh and I love the network of winter branches filling the sky.  Walked back up through Durford Wood.

Went over to Mum’s for a cup of tea in the evening and retrieved the pot of narcissus bulbs that I’d started off in her shed in the autumn and put them into her kitchen.
