El Rincon de Rafa

This evening, the Minx and I had plans for a trip to the cinema, and it seemed a bit daft to walk all the way home from the office, only to walk back to the Everyman later on.

After a some short time googling Tapas bars in the vicinity of our route between the office and cinema, the Minx came up with this place, Rafa's. Tucked away on a backstreet behind Deansgate, one could be forgiven for thinking there was something wrong with the directions, but no: there at the end of the dark, narrow street was a small wall-mounted lantern, radiating light and encouragement.

And what a great find! A large downstairs restaurant and bar, serving excellent food. Would definitely recommend. (Will definitely be returning!)

And we made it in perfect time for the film, which was Kenneth Branagh's 'Belfast', which was brilliant, and I'd recommend that, too.
