I think this stone wall probably dates back to enclosure. The fields are long and narrow, following the shape of the mediaeval strip farming that predated the land enclosures. There are also signs of the wall being rebuilt on many occasions over the centuries. The stones have many stories to tell.
Another sunny winter day. A trip to the market for fish this morning, together with admin chores and printing off images of waves on the shore for Ms S's latest stitching project about ebb and flow and movement of water. She said she wanted froth! I also sorted through the seeds in preparation for ordering what we need for the new season. The sun always makes me think of spring and keen to get planting.
