Not quite a pompom!
Another garden blip today, and another purple flower, but not quite as intense as yesterday's purple primulas. I have quite a number of pompom primulas or primula denticulata, to give them their posh name, in a variety of colours but these light mauve ones are usually first to bloom. I love the way they start so low in the base of the plant then extend upwards as the stalks grow to become true pompoms that sway about so daintily in our ever present wind.
Every day there are more and more signs of Spring in the garden. It is so good to see!
