On A Cold And Frosty Morning

My car was picked up early this morning, leaving me able to go for a lovely long walk. The day started with fog and frost but the sun soon chased away the fog to leave clear blue skies. It was a real joy to be able to drink in the beauty of the countryside and listen to the birdsong. A nuthatch, a coal tit and a thrush were the less often seen birds that I had the pleasure of seeing today.
