Wallflowers

Hmmm - I thought these would probably flower in March, or maybe towards the end of February. Mid-January seems far too early, but I guess it's been very mild recently.

Someone from the carpet shop phoned yesterday while we were out - they'd like to come and lay the carpet in the bedroom tomorrow. Erm, it's nowhere near ready yet, so there was no option but to phone back this morning, apologise profusely, and arrange for them to come later in the month.

Walked up to the hardware shop after lunch for more DIY supplies - yet more wood filler and pollyfilla. Yes, I'll shall be filling holes later in the week...

Enjoyed a long chat on the phone with Tom this evening.
