Winter Grip

It has been impossible to ride the last few days as the wet heavy snow on contact with the cold metal horse shoes freezes and results in the horse walking on stilts within seconds.

So today the farrier was here to do the regular pedicure but at the same time put on rubber inlets between the hoof and the metal shoe that "knock" the snow out as they are flexible.
