Rising from the ....
Doc told me yesterday to bring in a fresh urine sample by 10am as yesterday they could only do a basic test and didn't have the normal full laboratory facility.
So turned up at the surgery around 9:30 but the doors were locked and a sign on the door "Closed due to Covid Quarantine Case"! Bloody hell, does that mean one of the docs picked it up yesterday on house visits? Luckily they are glass doors and I was able to get the attention of the receptionist busy on the phone no doubt cancelling appointments. She pointed at something just as someone else came out from the opticians in the same building and I saw a box on a chair with "Samples" on it. Dropped off mine.
On the way home, this lovely scene of the Alps, the sun slowly burning off the morning mist.
In the evening felt well enough to do the evening dog walk in Ottobeuren and had the luck to see a good friend with her two dogs, a Border and Australian Collie & we did the entire Schickling walk together. She is Ottobeuren's dog godmother, knows every dog and owner. She also has a wonderful pug who is too old to keep up with the collies, Esme & Balu who are in the extra photo - poor as it was quite dark, Ottobeuren Abbey in the background.
Almost at the end of the walk, she pointed out a lit up Christmas tree on a hill above the town which had appeared recently and wondered if I knew which farm it was on. I said I would take a look on the way home. The other extra photo is Ottobeuren from the tree.
