Shreddding time

A lovely morning and great conditions for a walk in the park. Plenty of muddy ground and puddles that needed to be avoided   but it was so good to be out in the fresh air.

Took Poppy to Pollok and one of the first sights we saw was the huge line of old Christmas trees awaiting their turn for the shredder. The noise of the machinery was quite deafening and very sensibly the crew were wearing ear mufflers. So many trees that It will take the guys quite a few days to reduce the trees to wood chips.

Spotted this new sign just outside The Burrell ….. not long to wait till it reopens to the public.
