New beds ready for the growing season

I've now prepared all the new beds with a mix of cardboard, woodchips, leafmould and home made compost.

A friend of mine across the path had too much manure and told me I could have a few barrows so they've even had a bit of manure too.

I'll leave them covered for at least 2 more months and I expect the soil will be pretty rich and wormy when the time comes for planting!
