i’ve never taken - the time to document - in full the actual - progression of an - amaryllis coming to full bloom - so since this one - has decided to take - its merry time - doing just that - i decided to grab - the opportunity to shoot - it in its glorious stages - because when you - look at them - side by side - the slow building - of anticipation rising - with each day passing - the progress which is made - it’s truly a wonder - to behold

a miracle in itself - this slow awakening - of a flowers’ bloom - i find myself rushing - in each morning to - see what has happened - overnight and how much - closer it has come - to the final reckoning - i find myself holding - my breath in anticipation - waiting for that - moment it will become…
