FaceTime with Covid Ella

As this is my journal of what’s going on in my life, I have made a very fuzzy collage of Ella. I did some screenshots while we were on FaceTime last night. She was getting bored with being isolated from the family during her second bout of Covid but she was in good form and spent a lot of time showing me her magic tricks.

I got out early to call for Shona. We were able to use the path from her house up through the wood to the kissing gate out to the moor. We came back via Westhills on the road. (Shona doesn’t like walking in mud). Only 4.75 miles today.

I drove (to get a bit of practice) to the surgery for my blood pressure check to see if the increased meds were doing their work. I’d been doing home readings for a week and been fed up as the readings were all over 150/60. Given that the stress of being in the surgery can raise the pressure more I was not looking forward to the result. Surprisingly it was 128/54. The nurse said her machine was accurate and suspected mine was not.
