A weekend project

I bought some material recently to make a couple of bags, one to be a cross body zip bag, handy for bits and pieces, hands free. One of my sewing friends has shared a pattern with me. 

I spent some time on ScotlandsPeople and found my mother’ birth certificate without any difficulties. But subsequent records hit snags, so I gave up for the day. I will get the old notes out so that I’m searching on precise data.
