Cragg Vale

A trip to Mytholmroyd to choose furniture for the next phase of our household project.  The route took us down the Cragg Vale road, famous amongst cyclists for being the longest continuous hill in England, being 5.5 miles long, climbing 968 feet and an average gradient of just 3%.  It featured in the Tour de France in 2014, when it was decorated with bunting for its whole length.  I was there (as a spectator not a cyclist or a bunter.)
