Leaning poles and tower

Several church spires and a lot of telegraph poles lean this way and that. The low lying ground and silt don't make for great stability. Ringing in Surfleet church feels bizarre as the ropes hang straight but the tower is leaning.  It was a bright morning so I drove out for a walk around a different circuit. This afternoon I have one or two jobs to do before settling down to enjoy the small comforts of the English cricket team avoiding defeat in the test match.
