Job Done!
Today I completed my 365 project. I joined Blipfoto for my 6th day (after a false start on Wordpress) so my blip birthday isn't until next Wednesday. I'll reflect on a year of blipping then..
To mark the occasion, I took a punt that I could find my way to Lathallan House this lunchtime. Not only did I find my way in through a cylindrical tunnel (with great light painting potential), but the house and grounds were a lot more than I expected.
This chair was just winking at me and I'm pleased with the shot. I originally blipped the shack which was also a nice composition, and I couldn't get near enough for a single shot to the weird little building with a chimney but panoed 2 together. Any other day I'd have blipped all 4 and there's more in the bag. A fitting conclusion to my 365 project :-)
I'll definitely be back for a light painting do (Blipmeet anyone?) and these infrared shots will go stratospheric with summer foliage and a dramatic herringbone sky. I'll need to be quick though because the owner's got planning permission for 36 houses and 8 flats in the old house. Apparently, this listed building was requiring a lot of money spent on it about 15 years back and conveniently burnt down. Shame.
