Until recently I have not been to this location very much.  This is Glen Maye on the West coast of the Island.

However, in connection with my enquiries in to Lancelot Quayle (1864-1950) the famous Manx beekeeper, I have been wandering around trying to assess the area for its bee forage prospects.

The sea lies just behind us and the valley sides are very steep and just catching the last rays of the sun.
