A day off work that started very nicely indeed with a morning of crossword and coffee and lying on the sofa reading a book - I'm trying to do better this year with my 'one a month' target that I managed to achieve in 2020 fresh in mind.

Pedalling out back and some new records to listen to that arrived in the post. That's taking care of the afternoon so far. Just pizzas to make for the family before heading out to to see a secret/surprise/mystery film at the flicks. I've got some ideas of what it might be but whatever it is I'll be watching anyway....I know that walkouts are quite common at these events but that's hardly in the spirit of things is it now?
