Flowers from Bethlehem
Another treasure from the box of photos, before I put them all in a safe place for the time being.
There are three cards, each with almost perfectly-preserved dried flowers, two from Bethlehem and one from Gethsemane. On the back of the latter is written "Jerusalem 26th June 1918" in what looks to be the same handwriting as the letters from Alexandria, so almost certainly from the same person. They're too nice to be hidden away for another 100 years - maybe I'll have them framed?
