Safely home

The Glasgow family arrived back from Poland on Hogmanay. All PCRs and LFTs were negative so today we were at their house to see them, have a lovely lunch cooked by our son and exchange Christmas gifts.

Our grandson had been so excited to "Go by plane to Poland" and fortunately the experience lived up to his expectations. This plane was part of our Christmas present to him - slightly smaller than the one he flew in. So happy that he liked it and used it to re-enact the moment of a big bumpy landing.

We were fortunate to be given lovely gifts too, including for me the sweetest Polish pottery jug which will feature in a future blip I'm sure.

We're full of lunch, have had a good catch up, drove home in *almost* light and now it's time to settle down.
