Bluebonnet

Today finds me at Fredericksburg, Texas. It's Spring time and there are bluebonnets (a lupine) in bloom. This flower, about 3" tall, was out back of the hotel. It was a warm afternoon and this one found me. We also checked out a cool cowboy saloon/grill.

We're here for a bicycle tour that starts on Saturday. It needs some planning -- today, we stuffed bags with tourist information and route sheets. The latter are used by the riders to find their way.
