Disbelief

Yeovil fans were still looking at each other in disbelief for some time after our midfielder Jordan Barnett, seen here celebrating with teammates, had hit an absolute screamer into the top corner of the goal from 35 yards. One of the best goals we’ve ever seen at Huish Park.

30 minutes later there were more expressions of disbelief as we managed to lose the game 2-1 in the final minute, having earlier gifted Torquay an equaliser when our loan goalkeeper, drafted in when our regular keeper got sent off in last week’s game, completely missed the ball from a corner. 

A draw would have been a fair result but it was a game we shouldn’t have lost on the balance of play. This time last year the boot was on the other foot.

This morning Tess and I made it rain by giving the car a clean inside and out.
