First Footing

Having seen the New Year in, we curtailed our normal festivities with Jools Holland to make sure we were up in time for the New Year’s Day Park Run. It was wet, windy and slippery underfoot so the times weren’t great but we felt good for doing it.

We treated ourselves to a lazy breakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, I watched the lunchtime football match on TV then had our first walk of the year around Sharpham peat ponds.

A grey start to the year but the clouds were reflecting nicely.
