"Milestone"

An unresolved issue in the world of Blip: making the milestones multiples of 365 but then not taking account of leap years and people who don't post every day. So, this is my 3,285th post, but that's not actually nine years: it really is just a number.

But l don't mean to be a Blipgrinch* and I do enjoy my time on here, both for the writing and for the little bit of reading I do of other people's blogs. (I do see other people making far more of the community on here, and I'm happy to stand in the wings and watch that.)

Anyway, onwards - always onwards - and today was another easy one, with a bit of mooching, a good run at lunchtime, and then a couple of beers with my old friend, Hugo, in the Royal Barn. Today's photo was taken on the way back up the hill.

*Although it would be lovely if the 'Following' page could take account of those people whose posts I read regularly and who have posted recently.
