But it won’t change my mind

First day of the new year; that day when you start anew; do all the good things that are gonna make life better and more productive.

Yes. Well I woke at 1130; and it took me til after one to get out of bed and dressed.

I then threw egg down the front of my white teeshirt (theres a reason I don’t wear white)…

Things are boding well for this coming year.

We sat and contemplated the day. The greatest thing we achieved was the removal of the Christmas decorations…

We went out for a walk and didn’t manage to get out of the car.

Then we came home and have sat in a stupor in front of the tv.

tooli shared a taxi home with a fellow teacher … and he tested positive for Covid today… so now we wait.

And here is a lovely thing; I went in to my favourite shop yesterday …and bought a couple of items from their half price sale… as i paid, lovely P brought out a candle from
Under the counter and said ‘I kept this one for you because I know you love them…

She gave me the candle because she knew I loved them .. even though she could have sold it cheap.

How amazingly kind and generous.

That was a lovely, lovely thing and it made me feel so happy
