Bright red berries

I have tried to identify these red berries ...... they may or may not be Sarcococca Ruscifolia affectionally known as Fragrant Sweet Box.

The morning dawned rather dull and very windy so it was with great reluctance that I headed out for a New Year's morning walk. Things improved in the late morning and we had some blue skies and sunshine ....... now, at just before five, it's dark, windy and the rain is just running down the window.

A quiet day .... I'm taking my friend to hospital at the end of the week for her PCR test prior to a knee replacement op .... she has to isolate and I thought that I too should avoid close contact with folk for the coming days.
