Tarbert Cygnet
Thank you for your positive, comments , stars and hearts for yesterday's Red Kite. I was really chuffed to get that blip and really appreciate your comments on it, thanks.
Tonight another large , wild bird. This time one of the surviving cygnets down at Tarbert Loch Fyne. I noticed 4 cygnets there , I think there were five earlier this year. The other three were fast asleep sitting in the middle of the shingle and seaweed. I preferred this one in the shallow water with the water dripping from his beak. You can see some of the white beginning to come through but I really liked all the golden brown tones in its feathers.
