Welcome Home Adolfo

Here he is, our favourite crow - a singular corbie - Senor Adolfo. Painted by the very talented Diane Dawson ( www.doublenougat.com ) of thon Glasgow.

F & I fell in love with Adolfo when he saw him make his debut appearance in DD's Merchant City Festival exhibition Making The List last year. He is inspired by one of the artisan makers who supplied masks for the select few invited to Truman Capote's White & Black Ball at the Plaza Hotel in New York in 1966. The exhibition has just finished a successful run at Milngavie's Lillie Art Gallery.

I love the twinkle in his beady eye. The gleam of the brass ball upon which he perches.
