Riverside Walk

The weather was so nice and warm (14°C) today, I asked my friend U if she'd go for a walk with me. We met at the marina in Walluf (extra #1) and walked along the Rhine to Eltville and back. The main blip and other two extras are some impressions from the (rather muddy) towpath on the riverbank, looking towards Eltville with its castle, and across the river. 

After the walk, we stopped at the Weinprobierstand in Walluf. That's an open-air stall that sells drinks, usually in summer only, to promote locally produced wine. Today, it was open and very popular!

We treated ourselves to a glass of bubbles each - an early start to New Years' celebrations. It was lovely to sit outside at the riverside. Rather unheard of, on New Year's Eve.
