Had a lazy morning . Did some ironing. This is one of the tablecloths I borrowed from my dad for Christmas Day. Mine are still packed in a box somewhere and I needed something to cover up the garden table I’d brought indoors to supplement my usual table. Apparently my mum embroidered this for her ‘bottom drawer’, along with several others. Amazingly neat stitches but very vintage!
In the afternoon I headed out to go shopping for various house things. Ended up in homesense and saw a chair which would do very well for the kitchen. It’s the right colour, very comfortable and a little smaller than the one I was going to order from the place I went to on Monday ( a good thing) . It’s velvet, which I was going to avoid, but also much cheaper than the other one. Came home to think about it but think I’ll go back and get it
