Soup at last

Today I put all my additional ingredients together with the Central Market Thai Chicken Coconut soup, the almond milk and the chicken stock.  It's absolutely delicious, and the great thing is that I can keep adding more almond milk to soften the bite of the curry.  I don't usually purchase the soup because it's so expensive, but I'm really glad I did this time, and I'm going to do it more regularly from now on.

I had an interesting surprise today.  I discovered last night that I'd run out of needles for my insulin pen.  That meant missing my yesterday's dose.  Today, when I called the pharmacy about getting a refill right away, I discovered that they do deliver prescriptions and there is no charge for delivery!  I had been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to get to the pharmacy since we've had more snow and the streets are still treacherous.  So I was able to stay home and get my prescription anyway.  I felt very fortunate.

It's hard to believe that we're this close to the end of the year - I'll be glad to see it end.  Perhaps next year will be better?
