Just come in from a delightfully muddy couple of hours in the garden clearing up all sorts of things that needed it. The lawn is quite squelchy, unsurprising as our river is very full and the water table must be edging upwards. Anyway, what a cheering sight to find a little cluster of primroses already doing their thing. I also noticed my little daphne is almost ready to burst in flower. A little bit of hope for spring to hurry up!
