On the beach

Our family and their golden retriever, Leo, all managed to fit in the only car they have at the moment, a mini. It would be alright if Leo was a good traveller but he still has memories of those long car journeys they used to take him from Switzerland to the U.K. and back so he is a very fidgety passenger. How my daughter in law managed with him virtually on her lap for three hours I am not quite sure. 
After lunch we went for a walk along the beach. By the car park he met a group of five other golden retrievers, I don’t think he had seen that many altogether. He didn’t venture into the sea but liked rolling around on the pebbles for a back scratch. Lovely to catch up with everyone as we hadn’t seen our daughter in law and two grandsons for just over two years and only met up with our son very briefly in August 2020.
