A Cottage in Cheam

After a slow start, we drove to Nonsuch Park and walked into Cheam and bought some frozen food from Cook. The sun came out briefly, casting a wonderful golden light on the buildings, but it wasn't there for long.

On the way home we called in at Pets at Home for some cat litter but there is a national shortage of the one our cats are used to. I can foresee interesting times ahead.

During dinner our Worthing friend joined us via Skype and we watched the new BBC series of Around the World in 80 Days starring David Tennant. We all really liked it, although I was surprised at the violence in the action scenes. I thought it was a much quieter story than it turned out to be. I love the main three characters and can hardly wait to see the other seven episodes - six of which haven't aired yet.
