Wish a wish

I woke with a bout of vertigo this morning, certainly not what I would have wished for as I had to complete an alteration to S’s new dinner jacket, deadline tomorrow.

A highlight was the news that our neighbour is collecting a puppy on Saturday, the first in the family. She is borrowing Amber’s crate as it’s not required these days. B went over to make her garden gate secure and escape proof.

My blip today is a poor attempt to capture a lovely present that I received this year from Max and Annie. It is so pretty and the message from Annie, who did the wrapping, was that she blew on the dandelion and made a wish that we can meet up more often this year. We have only been able to meet once, last August, since before the first lockdown. It is a lovely wish and message.

I’ve managed to finish the sewing job, but not much else. No walk today.
