Not been good with taking photos recently! Yesterday I slept in until late , did some kitchen clearing up and went over to Dads so we could go out for Boxing Day lunch. We had a very good meal - think it’s the new place to go! Called in at g and c’s fir coffee on the way home and to admire their huge new tv . Too big for me by far but it looks ok as they have arranged the room (a long one) so that the t viewing area is at one end and there are just comfy sofas in the other. Called in at Js on the way home to drop off some stuff I had borrowed for Christmas Day lunch. He had just got back from kings Lynn. Intended to carry on with kitchen clearing up when I got home but couldn’t be bothered! Got a text from Sa- M just tested positive for covid but is ok. I was with them on Christmas Eve. I did a test - negative.
Today I did finish the clearing up and cleaned my old microwave and mini oven ready for giving to Jo andL or storing . Did another test - negative again. Then drove over to Long Eaton to the furniture showroom to look at designs for a new chair for the kitchen and sofa for the sitting room . Not finally decided but it was useful to go.
Called in at Su’s in the way home/ was supposed to be just for tea and mince pies but I ended up staying for supper- left over Mexican food from Christmas Day. Watched first episode of A very British scandal. Good but a bit slow. Blip is one of Su’s many Christmas trees.
