Murder

Or the nests of a murder which until today I did not know was the name for a gathering of crows. I had seen the crows patiently building their nests over the past weeks but today looked like they were all complete.

As typically happens with me and our animal friends when I wanted to take the picture the murderers had all flown the nests/coup or whatever a crows abode is called,

Just underneath these tree's was a school car park and whilst the gate was closed so I could not get closer I for one would not like to park my car in the car park during the day.

So today I learnt something new and it is surprising what names are given to gatherings of one type of animals. I wonder who thinks these up.
