(managed to forget to leave water dripping and woke up to all pipes frozen, no ground to protect them on houseboats.  these guys patiently helped "water" them with steaming water, and they gave way - grateful - )

(could i possibly have mumps? mono? covid? test tomorrow - lymph nodes below right jaw are so swollen and sore - this is like "if it's not one thing it's another" as delivered so richly by Rosanadana on Saturday night live back in the day!)
