The Sun Sets on Lower Chittering
As the sun set, we sat on the new deck, reflecting on our time at Aunty Jo’s.
We remembered the workhorses and the battle with the final plank. The joeys, too big for mum’s pouch, who now hop around with the rest of the mob. We had some lovely clear nights and saw a comet called Lenny. Belle Mere and Beau Pere came over several times, including Xmas dinner. Their dog Poppy was a challenge at first, but we are great mates now! It’s been a memorable couple of months!
A few small planes flew over, bringing miners home from the Pilbara, change of shift! The folks had a Baileys and I played tug with Uncle Rich. After a while it went dark, so we went inside.
