Monday: Calendula and Local History

Woke up around 5 this morning and heard the owls hooting, I’ve heard them for the last few days, was glad the MrD heard them too - wonderful local wildlife!
MrD is starting on another model project and I offered him one of my shallow storage boxes, he thought it a good idea - whilst I was rearranging my craft stuff I discovered the local history book. I’ve already found a couple of places where my ancestors lived but couldn’t concentrate because I had a runny nose and cough … maybe tomorrow?
Went outdoors for fresh air but felt chilly - took a photo of the Calendula which has survived all the recent wind and rain and I think it’s so beautiful!
We have 2 more days of bank holidays to compensate for Christmas being at the weekend!
