Tuesday: Hamamellis mollis (Witchhazel) in Bud

Last night it was so mild that there were moths flying around our street light, this morning the rain woke me up but it soon blew over.
Temperature around 9°C all day, but the air outdoors felt cold and damp, I’m still snuffly and the coldness felt uncomfortable :-((
MrD walked down the lane and I wandered around the garden, very little to admire at the moment.
Philip the Pheasant has been here daily for the last week, helping to clear up the spilled bird seed whilst keeping himself out of range of The Shoot, sadly he wasn’t here today…
