Sorted out the kitchen as much as I could and brought the (small ) tree in to decorate. Fortunately I was able to intercept the Christmas decorations when everything was packed into the spare room last week. Found lots of things I’d forgotten I had so ended up decorating the kitchen and also putting a few things in the lounge. Also moved as much as I could of things that don’t belong in the lounge out of it to give us more space. That made me realise how much builders dust etc was lurking in there so ended up giving everything a really good clean. Took ages but looks a lot better. Wrapped the Christmas presents. Had wanted to do some food prep but ran out of time. Did read the new oven instructions (fortunately) as needed to run an hour cleaning programme and then wash down with soapy water before using. Prepped turkey to put in oven at 8 tomorrow and then went to nine lessons and carols with Sa andM at St Marys in the lace market. It’s a stunning part medieval building and had hoped for a blip from there but all photos had this weird green light. Don’t understand why
