Faith, Family, Fun
Sunny with a high of 56 deg F. We got up at 6:30 to be ready for our company due to arrive at noon. It was a wonderful day all around. Having lumpia, pansit, etc brought in was easy. Everyone donated some other homemade dish to fill in ( gotta have at least one green veggie at my meals.) The gifts were thoughtful and sincerely appreciated. We lit the candles on the cake and face timed Sky and sang to her. Kristen’s family sent me the pic of them at a German restaurant. There’s no way Chase can eat that plate of delicious food. My SIL took the family picture, insisting that I am never in the pictures. I took the other two though. Our mother is spending the night with my son’s family. They bought us all pjs to wear for breakfast. Everyone went home in time to watch Mass being streamed from our parish. We had over 300 new COVID cases today and were simply not comfortable scrunched in an overcrowded church, especially with Momma. Hopefully, next year we can get back to going to Mass together to celebrate The Savior’s Birth. Wishing you a day as wonderful as ours. Thanks for dropping by. Stay safe blip friends. “The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.” – Burton Hills
