In the Park.....

....Snow Is Glistening...

I woke up this morning to a white Christmas Eve morning..not exactly a Winter Wonderland, but ever so close. Maybe, just maybe..we would have a White Christmas after all? But alas, it seems not. The forecast is for rain...drizzling rain...which puts a real damper on that hope for a White Christmas...

But still, the Christmas spirit reigned...I started the morning with a Coffee and Christmas Goodie Feast at my neighbours' house across the street. Gifts were exchanged, goodies consumed, and photos taken ( see extra)  ...followed by another visit with an elderly neighbour who was celebrating her 91st birthday where memories were shared and good cheer was had.....and then it was back home for online FaceTiming and phoning family members I would not see for Christmas again this year... 

By noon, that rain had not yet appeared but the warmer temps had, so I took a stroll through a small park around the corner to try to get some photos of what could have been the beginning of a winter wonderland if only we had just a little more snow and a different weather forecast! 

As I write, sitting by the tree, next to the fire and with every candle in the room lit, that rain has not yet come..so, maybe just maybe..it will still be white out there in the morning.....we shall see....
